The Ribbon: A development that will transform the eastern side of the Darling Harbour, compromising of a hotel and serviced apartments. The completion of this extraordinary addition to the city skyline, will compete with domestic and international destinations for tourists, stimulating the economy for the valuable precinct on the edge of the CBD.

Embelton’s team of specialists were tasked with supplying 34 XDRP spring pool mounts for the level 29 swimming pool which was over 30m long and weighing over 380T. We faced the challenge of space limitations available for installing lateral restraints, which mean sections were cast underneath the pool shell to latch onto the concrete hobs. With the successful design of the spring mounts and lateral restraint pads, our team were able to provide a solution of vibration isolation and avoid any disruption to the comfort of future residents.
