St Mary’s College is a R-12 Catholic girls’ school in the heart of Adelaide. The schools is also the oldest continuously running school for girls in South Australia. The school provides a welcome and safe environment, an educational experience that nurtures the development of the individual and an education for girls that provides social education, behaviour education programs acknowledging developmental stages and needs.
Embelton were assigned with supplying and installing NRD Green rubber mounts for a floating timber, isolated basketball court. Also installed were steel support channels, used to connect the isolators with plywood, with the addition of acoustic insulation, used to further reduce noise and vibration on impact.
