Return and Refund Policy
1. Overview
At Embelton, we are committed to providing quality engineering products designed for noise and vibration control. Because these are technical and purpose-built items, we generally do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind or incorrect product selection.
However, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) remain unaffected.
If your item is faulty, damaged, or does not perform as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the ACL.
2. Consumer Guarantees
Under the ACL, you are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure, and
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- A repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
We will always comply with these obligations.
3. Reporting a Faulty or Damaged Product
If your item arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact our team within 7 days of delivery at enquiries@embeltonengineering.com
- Include your order number, details of the issue, and photos or videos where possible.
- We will assess your claim and, if approved, offer a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
4. Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, incorrect choice, or accidental orders once the goods have been shipped. Please check specifications carefully before purchase.
5. Refund and Replacement Process
If a refund or replacement is approved:
- Replacements are shipped at no cost to you.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after confirmation.
- You may be asked to return the defective goods
